ANZAC Heritage
Albany was the gathering point for the convoys that left for Egypt and Galipoli in 1914. As such it was the last of Australia that many of the troops would ever see.
With the building of the National ANZAC Centre and the upgrades to the Heritage Park Precinct in 2014, Albany now presents a comprehensive collection of memorabilia, memorials and memories of those who helped create the defining moments in the formation of the Australian national identity.
