Ellen Cove Boardwalk
This paved trail takes in the sweeping views of King George Sound in its 3km arc from Middleton Beach to Princess Royal Harbour.
Suitable for both walking and cycling, there are many sights and hidden treasures dotted along its length. Beginning at Middelton Beach, the pathway follows Marine Terrace around Mount Adelaide, into town.
Scenic lookouts take in the views of King George Sound and Ataturk Entrance. A midway connection to Rotary Lookout allows the path to be enjoyed in sections if desired.
Reflect on the rich military history of Albany, where the ANZAC convoys left for Gallipoli on November 1, 1914.
See the historic ruins of the Point King Lighthouse, abandoned gun emplacements of the lower Forts, and the Ataturk Memorial near the entrance to the harbour.

The project was managed by the City of Albany, funded by Commonwealth, state and local government programs and constructed with the help of local Noongar through the Pathways program.
